Kemal

“We bring new meaning to riding shotgun” – Arahn, Ferres Rebel

In war, you have to be inventive to succeed. Kemal’s got a lot of unique skills he brings to the battlefield.

He needs to get his foot soldiers in before the enemy captures the middle!

Turns out, with a bit of cooperation you can achieve a lot.

Is that Infantry riding shotgun on that Anti-Air?

This has a few other advantages, too…

With a few extra hands helping out...

...you get a bit more firepower!

He’s got a few friends too:

If only those capturing infantry could be stopped!

Nothing is ever inevitable…

Turns out, they can!

Kemal

Ferres Guerilla Army

Bio: The leader of the Ferres Irregulars. Experienced in urban warfare.
Hit: Salvage
Miss: Tyranny

Skill – Solidarity

Kemal’s troops, a squad of rebel militia, disgusted ex-military squads and persecuted civilians are not particularly well armed or trained. As such, Kemal uses his expertise to lead the fight using guerrilla tactics and any salvaged supplies. Priority is on protecting soldiers and transports -  all standard transport units and soldiers have improved defensive skills. Additionally, Infantry can be transported by any ground vehicle where they add their support to the unit and improve its firepower.

CO Power – Insurrection

The Ferres rebels launch operations in cities near the warzone – riots, protest actions, guerrilla strikes and raids stop any captures by occupational forces. The coordinated action also improves the defence of all transports and soldiers.

will the infantry get hurt if the vehicle he is supporting will get hurt? What kind of improvements on firepower are we talking about. It wouldnt make sense if tanks would suddenly be able to deal a decent amount of damage while carrying infantry. this could be different when they carry mechs but i think thats a very bad idea. Tanks would get twice as powerfull for just 3.000G and are able to drop a mech unit. This seems completeley rediculous

It’s currently sitting at +20-30% – It’s a very nice boost, but buffing up your whole army will be quite expensive (Plus the added benefit of shuttling around everything!)

It functions like any other transport – the transportee doesn’t get hurt, but if the holding unit dies it also dies.
